Dr. Louis Pollina is a pediatric dentist dedicated to helping children develop healthy smiles in a comfortable and supportive environment. As the owner of Dentistry for Children, he has spent decades providing trusted pediatric dentistry to families across the Kansas City Northland.
Dr. Pollina believes that children deserve dental care designed specifically for their needs. By focusing on prevention, education, and positive dental experiences, he helps children feel comfortable visiting the dentist while helping parents protect their child’s oral health.
Dr. Pollina’s Story
Dr. Louis Pollina has dedicated his career to helping children maintain healthy smiles through compassionate pediatric dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1997, graduating with honors and at the top of his class.
After completing dental school, Dr. Pollina continued his training through the Pediatric Dentistry Program sponsored by Children’s Mercy Hospital. He completed this specialized pediatric dentist training in 1999, preparing him to provide dental care designed specifically for infants and children.
Dr. Pollina joined Dentistry for Children in 1999 and later became the owner of the Gladstone and Liberty pediatric dental offices. Since then, he has continued building a pediatric dental practice focused on creating a safe and comfortable environment where children and families can receive high quality dental care.
One of Dr. Pollina’s favorite parts of being a pediatric dentist is forming long-term relationships with families. He enjoys helping children grow up with healthy smiles while supporting parents with guidance about their child’s oral health.
Dr. Pollina was born and raised in Kansas City’s Northland and remains deeply connected to the community he serves. He and his wife have four children who keep them busy with activities and family time. Outside of the pediatric dental office, Dr. Pollina enjoys working on classic muscle cars.
